    Google Drive is an extremely useful system today. You can save documents and spreadsheet to the cloud so that they are available no matter where you login. You can also share photos, documents (I like to share my recipes via Google Drive), videos and much more with other Google users! Learn the ins and outs of your Google Chrome Account. Learn about Google Docs, Google Play, and Google Drive etc. Learn how to share documents, send email and use Google Hangouts. Prerequisites: Must be familiar with a mouse and keyboard, and the internet. Must be willing to create a Chrome account before class. This is a free class, however, a $5 deposit is required at registration and is returned during class

    If you have been admiring our beautiful displays you might be interested to know that a lot of them come from Pinterest! Pinterest is full of neat crafts (that includes woodworking and welding ideas), delicious recipes, funny photos, helpful tips, travel ideas, and numerous book recommendations. This class will cover the basics of Pinterest. Students will learn key terms, create and look at boards, find pins. Prerequisites: must be familiar with a mouse and keyboard as well as the internet. Must be willing to sign up for an account. You may bring your own laptop, though it is not required. This is a free class, however, a $5 deposit is required at registration and is returned during class.

    Facebook can be very valuable to a business if you know how to use it! Join Lindsey for this informational class and learn the tricks to a success business page. Learn how to use Facebook to effectively promote your company, business, or even your pet! Prerequisites: Must be familiar with a mouse and keyboard as well as the internet. Must have or have created an email account, and be willing to sign up for a Facebook account. This is a free class, however, a $5 deposit is required at registration and is returned during class.

  4. Excel Basics Computer Class Evening

    This is the same class that was offered earlier in the session. Do you or a friend want to learn more about Microsoft Excel? It might surprise how much you can do in this program! This introductory class will show you how to get started inputting data into Excel. Learn to enter data, change cell size, use formulas and create headers and footers. Prerequisites: Must be familiar with a mouse and keyboard. Must be familiar with Microsoft Word. This is a free class, however, a $5 deposit is required at registration and is returned during class.

  5. Instagram Class

    Do you want to use the photo app Instagram but don't know how? Attend this class to learn! This is a “bring your own tablet or smartphone” class. Learn the basics of Instagram, such as language and key terms. Take photos, learn how to edit and post. Find friends and connect to Facebook and Twitter. Prerequisites: Participants must be experienced with using a smart phone or tablet, and have downloaded the free app from their respective app store. Patrons must have or create an email account (unless they are interested in connecting to Facebook) before the day of class and be willing to sign up and create an Instagram account. This is a free class but you must register and put down a $5 deposit prior to class. You will get your $5 at the start of class!

  1. Plants with Stories

    Join us and local family business owners (www.plantswithstories.com) in learning about heirloom vegetables! They have over 450 (!) varieties of tomatoes and peppers and can tell you the story behind them all. Now they won't have all 450 varieties at this event, but there will be FREE seedlings for you to take home and more to purchase if you'd like :) Potting soil will be provided for your free seedling. While this is a FREE event, there are limited spots available so you need to call or come into the library to reserve a spot.
